Arts & Crafts - Mosiacs

I found this beat-up broken table at the dump. Did my best to fix the broken top and shelf, painted it white and went to town with the mosiacs... Once the grout was dry I smoothed the sharp edges with a dremel tool.
The dishes used on this were the precious few remaining from my first set--one of the first things that I purchased on my own after graduating from college. I couldn't bear to part with them and they were too crackled to keep in daily use.
My kids had a blast smashing them and I had a blast making them a permanent and useful part of my bedroom.

One of my first attempts at mosiacs. An oddly shaped butler's pantry counter that gets spattered daily with impossible to clean stuff... thus the gray grout... (glass tiles)
